A piston pump is a type of positive displacement pump that uses a piston or plunger to move the organic soups through a cylinder. It works by using the motion of a piston or plunger to create a vacuum at the pump inlet, which draws in the organic soups. The organic soup is then pushed through the pump outlet by the motion of the piston or plunger. The VRM pump is durable allowing spherical objects of up to 75mm to pass through it. The VRM pumps can create a suction vacuum of up to 0.85 bar the equivalent to 8.5 meters static suction lift.
The CVR is the smallest but one of the most popular for projects where high pressures or flows are not required.
