]]>Four Sites in Four Days – The Paddle Depacker V3 on the Road
After its successful introduction in Spain and Portugal, the mobile Paddle Depacker V3 continued its route through Europe. Recently, the roadshow visited four different companies in Eastern Europe for four consecutive days of on-site testing. Each location presented its own materials, market conditions and expectations, providing a clear view of how the V3 performs in practice with reliable, high-quality output. The objective was straightforward: demonstrate the quality of the results directly on site.
Day 1 – Existing customer explores upgrade for higher capacity
The first visit was to a long-term Mavitec customer currently operating a Paddle Depacker Model S with a capacity of 1–5 m³ of material per hour. With increasing material volumes and the need for higher throughput, the on-site test with the Roadshow V3 offered valuable insight into the next step. The results showed the same familiar depackaging concept, but now with significantly higher capacity: 15–30 m³ of material per hour*, while maintaining the consistently high output quality the customer is accustomed to. Based on these test results, the customer expressed clear interest in upgrading to a larger model in the near future.
Days 2–4 – New prospects testing their own challenging materials
The following days focused on potential new customers. Each company tested a different mix of input materials, ranging from organic household waste streams and supermarket returns to mono-streams, factory rejects, and other general food waste. Across all three visits, the V3 produced a clean organic soup with purity levels of up to 99.7%. This consistent output quality gave each company a clear picture of how their materials can be processed on site, and the teams were clearly impressed by the reliability of the results.
Applicable to a broad range of industries – all aiming to improve depackaging performance
The test week highlighted another core strength of the Roadshow V3: its verstatility across different sectors. The companies involved represented industries where clean organic output and reliable depackaging are essential, including:
- Biogas plants aiming to improve input quality and increase yields
- Agricultural operators processing organic material streams
- Waste and recycling companies seeking dependable depackaging technology
- Food producers and retailers evaluating solutions for returned or off-spec products
Despite the differences in materials and challenges at each site, the mobile Paddle Depacker V3 demonstrated stable performance with consistently high-quality output across all tests.

Throughout the week, the Roadshow was supported by our local partner Elkoplast, who provided logistical coordination, local market expertise, and on-site technical assistance. Their involvement allowed customers to ask questions in their own language and receive immediate guidance during the tests.

With more than 300 projects delivered worldwide, we provide solutions ranging from compact food waste lines to complete turnkey installations. The Paddle Depacker 2.0 can be applied as a stand-alone unit or as part of a full food waste recycling line, even when input streams are highly contaminated. For those who would like to see it in operation, our Roadshow Paddle Depacker truck is now also available in Italy, offering the opportunity to experience its performance live.

With growing demand for solutions that contribute to a circular economy, food waste management is becoming an increasingly urgent priority in Italy. A central focus is the treatment of FOR.S.U. (the organic fraction of municipal solid waste), where efficiency and high-quality output are key to meeting both national requirements and EU recycling goals.

Building on the proven separation of the Paddle Depacker, the Paddle Washer takes the plastic fraction to the next level. By thoroughly washing the plastics, the output becomes cleaner and drier, ready to meet stricter standards. At the same time, integrating the Paddle Washer enables the use of smaller screens in the Depacker, resulting in a finer, cleaner organic soup with higher recovery rates.
The outcome: plastics that are easier to recycle and organics that are simpler and more efficient to process.

The Grit Cyclone takes efficiency one step further, separating abrasive particles such as shells, glass, and stones from the organic fraction. Developed in close cooperation with customers and based on extensive on-site testing, the Grit Cyclone has been continuously refined for even greater reliability in daily operation.

]]>Independent and flexible operation
Equipped with a built-in generator, the V3 removes the need for external power. The Paddle Depacker 2.0 is mounted directly on the trailer, creating a fully self-sufficient system that is easy to transport and quick to deploy. Within 30 minutes the unit can be up and running, requiring only liquid for operation. It is available for rentals across Europe.
High capacity and clean organic output
Capable of processing up to 30 m³ (eq. 12-15ton) of material per hour, the V3 is designed for high efficiency. The system includes a 4 m³ twin screw hopper, the Desempacotador de remo 2.0, and multiple discharge options for the processing of wet via the newly installed piston pump and the discharge of dry organic fractions via the conveyor in the bottom of the truck. It is also equipped with a small transfer conveyor for easy discharge for the packaging fraction into a container. Operation is managed through a digital touchscreen control panel, while the unit delivers an organic output purity above 99.7%, making it highly suitable for biogas plants, compost and animal feed ingredient preparation.

Official debut at Gas Renovable 2025
After successful pre-launch demonstrations where clients already benefitted from its performance, the Roadshow V3 will make its first public appearance at Gas Renovable in Valladolid, Spain, on October 1–2, 2025 (stand 221). Visitors can see the new unit up close, explore its compact design, and learn more about its industry-leading output purity of 99.7%.
Demonstration and rental options
After the exhibition, the Roadshow V3 will be available for rental. Customers can use the system to test their own material, assess performance with specific feedstocks, compare results for biogas production, and train their operators. The Roadshow is suitable for a wide range of projects, from pilot initiatives to large-scale trials.
In addition, Mavitec Green Energy has expanded its rental fleet with extra machines to meet the growing demand across Europe. This enables faster and broader support and ensures that customers receive the right equipment at the right time.
