Mavitec indica que el proceso asegura una reducci\u00f3n de volumen de hasta 85% y que una entrada de 2.3 ton \/ hora de esti\u00e9rcol presecado u otro combustible compatible (75-80% s\u00f3lidos secos, no esti\u00e9rcol h\u00famedo) produce 5.5 - 6.1 MWth a 1000 \u00b0 C energ\u00eda, apta para su uso en generaci\u00f3n de electricidad o como vapor a presi\u00f3n. Los datos de Wageningen WUR, ver m\u00e1s abajo, muestran que este EcoChar es rico en carbono (27.2-31.3 % C<sub>-Org<\/sub>), seco y libre de pat\u00f3genos, puede retener hasta 2,5 veces su propio peso de humedad (reduciendo as\u00ed el empapado) y es inodoro. EcoChar de esti\u00e9rcol tambi\u00e9n contiene nutrientes: 5,4 % P (f\u00f3sforo) y 3,4 % K (potasio) de esti\u00e9rcol de cerdo, por ejemplo. Junto con su socio estadounidense EarthCare, Mavitec ha estado desarrollando sistemas de gasificaci\u00f3n en varios productos y ofrece soluciones completas para gasificar corrientes org\u00e1nicas en formas de energ\u00eda utilizables. En la actualidad, la empresa tiene cinco plantas a gran escala (entrada de 2,3 toneladas \/ hora) que operan en los Estados Unidos (desde 2007) y una en los Pa\u00edses Bajos (desde 2018, esti\u00e9rcol de cerdo).
