Due to increasing customer interest and growing demand for on-site testing, Mavitec has expanded its rental programme with the Mobile Paddle Depacker Model S, a compact mobile depackaging solution. The unit delivers the same proven separation performance as Mavitec’s larger Paddle Depacker systems, producing over 99.7% clean organic output, in a space-efficient setup.
Demand for on-site testing confirmed during roadshows
During recent Roadshow visits across Europe, Mavitec confirmed a clear need for flexible depackaging solutions. More and more facilities want to test depackaging performance using their own input material, directly on site and under real operating conditions. The Mobile Paddle Depacker Model S supports this approach by offering a practical way to evaluate separation performance and process behaviour before investing in a permanent installation.
Part of the Mavitec rental and testing programme
The Mobile Paddle Depacker Model S has now been added to Mavitec’s rental and testing programme, alongside the Paddle Depacker Roadshow trucks, the Grit Cyclone, Paddle Washer and various pumps. This allows operators to test and compare solutions within their own process environment, reducing uncertainty and supporting informed decision-making.
From testing to temporary depackaging capacity
Beyond on-site testing, the Mobile Paddle Depacker Model S also offers a practical solution for plants that require temporary depackaging capacity for a longer rental period. Especially when space is limited or throughput requirements are more modest, the unit provides a flexible way to support operational continuity. With a processing capacity of up to 5 m³ per hour (approximately 2–4 tons per hour, depending on material characteristics), the Model S is particularly suitable for smaller projects processing approximately 1,500 to 10,000 tons of food waste per year.
